SIMATIC WinCC/Audit V7.4 and SIMATIC WinCC/ChangeControl V7.4 are powerful updates that simplify configuration while supporting redundancy. The software brings several other benefits while providing compatibility with a range of popular operating systems.
The two new offerings are autonomous products that replace their direct predecessors, which are being phased out. Version 7.4 now supports with remote scenarios such as remote configuring, multi-station projects and clients without a separate project. It also handles clients which have their own project. SIMATIC WinCC/Audit V7.4 now provides a more convenient configuration in Configuration Studio.
Audit V7.4 supports redundancy, with either full redundancy or redundant WinCC Servers with separate Audit Server.
Variables can now be marked as GMP tags. An entry is generated in the Audit Trail database for each value change of a selected variable. The requirements for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are fulfilled with the GMP tags.
Audit Document Control and Project Versioning allow users to compare project versions with each other. The comparison function allows you to compare picture files, C and VB scripts of different file versions. Thus, you can detect whether content-related changes have been performed. The runtime functionality of Audit has been extended and now supports the monitoring of acoustic alarms and lifebeat monitoring.
SIMATIC WinCC/Audit V7.4 and SIMATIC WinCC/ChangeControl V7.4 run on a broad range of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 operating systems as well as Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.
